I am Carol-anne List a Registered General Nurse. I have an active registration on the Nursing and Midwivery Council. My PIN number is 89I0830E.
I started my training in 1989 at Charles Frears School Of Nursing in Leicester. I qualified in 2001 and worked a number of years on acute general medical wards. I have always had an interest in anti-ageing treatments and looking after my skin. I decided to pursue a dream of mine and I completed my aesthetic training on Harley Street in 2008. I have attended many training courses over the years with some fantastic training providers and experts in the field of aesthetic medicine. I am also a member of the Aesthetics Complications Expert Group (ACE). As a member I can access guidelines for managing complications. Safety is a core value for me within the clinic.
Treatments that I carry out at the clinic include:- Anti-ageing treatments, Dermal Fillers including Lips, Cheeks, Tear Trough, Chin and Jaw, Skin remodelling treatments - Profhilo and skin analysis including chemical peels.

ANTI-AGEING TREATMENTS
The right treatment for you
At Rejuvenage Aesthetics amongst the anti-ageing consultations that you can have are a wrinkle treatment consultation. Treatments can be discussed for the management of fine lines and wrinkles. Treatments may include prescription only medicines and you will be required to have a medical consultation prior to the treatment. A medical history will be taken before and if you are suitable for the treatment an appointment will be made for you. There are a number of different prescription medicines that can be prescribed here at the clinic. These will be discussed with you at your appointment. Small amounts of the product are injected into the muscles and this in turn blocks the nerve impulse that makes the muscle move.
DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal Fillers are hyaluronic acid based, these can be used to fill in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue. Dermal fillers can be placed strategically around the face to reduce the appearance of fine lines and restore volume where it has been lost. Here at the clinic I am trained to place dermal fillers under the eye area (tear trough), cheeks, lips, chin and jaw.
There are many different dermal fillers on the market however here at the clinic we only use those dermal fillers that have been approved by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) and the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency these include Juvederm, Teosyal and Belotero

Here at the clinic we offer a thorough skin consultation. We can assess your skin concerns and tailor a package that is suitable for you and your needs.
If you suffer with acne scarring, fine lines, dull skin, skin pigmentation a chemical peel may be advised. PCA Skin is used in the clinic and this includes medical grade peels and skin care products. A skin consultation is required in order to analyse the best treatment for you.
Profhilo is an injectable skin treatment that can help to remodel the skin and it works by stimulating the number of fibroblasts in the skin to produce collagen and elastin and in turn help to restore the skins tone and texture. Profhilo can be used on the face, neck and decotellage

Below you will find some frequently asked questions I receive from many of my clients. I have tried to answer all of your questions and concerns, however, if you still can’t find what you’re looking for, please give me a call. I will get back to you as soon as possible, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
HOW DO ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS WORK?
It temporarily blocks the nerve impulses that make the muscles move. The injections can be injected into the forehead, and the crows feet which are the lines around the eye. It can take 2 weeks to take effect and lasts for around 3 months. Side effects can include:- Bruising, Temporary headache. In rare cases a ptosis can occur which is when the toxin migrates to a muscle that it is not intended for and can cause a droopy eye lid/brow. As this is a prescription only medicine a full medical history will be taken before the treatment and all side effects and after care will be discussed at this appointment. You will also receive an after care leaflet.
DO LIP FILLERS HURT AND HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
The dermal fillers that we use at the clinic all contain lidocaine which is an anaesthetic. The lips are first numbed with a topical numbing cream and then after a few injections of the dermal filler into the lips you will notice that they will feel very numb. Many clients say that it feels like when they go to the dentist! They will feel tender for a a few days afterwards.
You have to be over 18 to receive any treatment at Rejuvenage Aesthetics and you may be asked to provide ID such as a driving licence or passport to confirm your age. Please do not be offended if you are asked. We ensure safety is paramount at the clinic.
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO REJUVENAGE AESTHETICS ACCEPT?

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
You will need to make an appointment for a consultation first where we will discuss your needs. This can be made on the booking form on the website. Once an appointment is made for your treatment a £50 deposit will be taken prior to your treatment. This will then be taken off your treatment costs. If you cancel less than 1 week before your appointment your deposit will not be refunded.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS FROM LIP FILLERS?
The main side effects associated with lip fillers are redness, swelling and bruising. The lips are very vascular and by having injections into the lips it can cause swelling and bruising. This bruising can last for between 7-10 days. To minimise the risk of bruising do not drink alcohol for at least 72 hours before the treatment, refrain from taking aspirin or ibuprofen unless this has been prescribed for you by a medical professional. Arnica tablets or Arnica cream from your local pharmacy can help with managing the bruising.If you suffer with cold sores on the lips you may experience an outbreak after your lip filler treatment. You will not be able to have your lip filler treatment if you have an active cold sore. We will need to wait until this has resolved before you can proceed with your treatment.
